Description
A team of four performers from TSRT-CHF gave 58 street theatre shows in primary schools, orphanages and institutions for handicapped children in Albania.
Objectives
- to allow children to see a show that was at once entertaining and stimulating for their imaginations.
- to show the staff of the schools, orphanages and institutions for handicapped people, the positive effect of any cultural activity carried out in an educational or medical context.
- to improve learning conditions by improving the equipment and basic school supplies (notebooks and pens) available to the pupils.
- to offer those pupils who study French the chance to exchange knowledge and experience with friends in France.
Remarks
Other key contributors to the project included the management and staff of the institutions involved, and French primary schools (for the pen-pal scheme).
